We recommend the following tips and tricks to get best use out of Wisdomap:
- Keep node names short. This helps keep your maps looking great - you can always put that extra information you need in the form of notes or media.
- Rotate your map. While you're building your map rotate it to try various different perspectives. Some will probably look better than others, and the default isn't necessarily the best!
- Tighten your map. Play around with 'node spread' to decide for yourself what's look best. We personally like to make it as tight as it can go without causing overlaps.
- Find your maps quickly. The names of your maps are displayed in the browser title (at the top of the window). If you're using Firefox, newer versions allow you to search your history using the address bar at the top of the page. This will help you find maps you've viewed quickly.
