After you enter the name for your first map you will be taken straight into the Wisdomap application.
The white mind mapping canvas will fill most of your screen. A toolbar at the top of the screen contains all the important tools you need.
To start building a mind map, hit TAB on your keyboard or click the red plus icon in the toolbar. Type the name of the new node in the text box and hit ENTER or click the tick to confirm. Your new node will appear. To add further first generation nodes hit ENTER, or you can hit TAB to add a child to your first node.
The selected node at any time is indicated by a darker grey border, and the node name will be shown in the top toolbar. To edit a node, hit E or simply start changing the text in the top toolbar when then node is selected. The confirm and cancel button will again appear, and you can access these by hitting ENTER or ESC respectively. To delete the selected node, hit BACKSPACE or click the grey dustbin in the toolbar.
To move around the map, you can use the arrow keys.
