Welcome to the Wisdomap blog! Its been two weeks since we launched Wisdomap, and we have been working hard to respond to all the feedback and feature requests. We're obviously not the only people enthusiastic about mind mapping; there are plenty of features in demand, so we've created this blog to provide updates on where our development is heading.

But today, in our own words, we wanted to tell you why we think Wisdomap is the best mind mapping software available:

• The best maps. We haven't tried to cram all sorts of functionalities (photos, videos and so on) into our mind maps. We believe it's the fundamental simplicity of mind maps that make them so powerful, so we want to preserve and enhance their visual nature. Our mind maps are clean, colourful and striking.
• The best format. Instead, we've put important extra resources and media in a convenient right hand column. This keeps the mind map simple and effective, and together with the article area below the mind map creates a powerful three-area format which we call a wisdomap.
• The best interface. We believe simple interfaces are the best, so we've worked hard to keep our interface simple, clean and very intuitive to use. This makes creating wisdomaps an enjoyable task.
• Web-based and secure. You can access your Wisdomap account with no complicated installation or licensing from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. Your wisdomaps are all stored, tidily and securely, on our server.
